I was hoping to be able to use this app to readdisplay a novel I bought on my iPad for my Macboon Air. It doesnt work at all, though Ehon retrieved the book; it just displayed a bunch of jibberish that my Macbook could do nothing with. Macbook owners know thier computers will read anything thats highlighted to them, and I was hoping mine would read books to me while I was doing some other work on my computer.

The app itself is very nice looking and works well and easy to use. However there is no feature to transfer the books to an ereader or even just to export them to a folder. I dont even care if there is a device recognize function though there needs to be some sort of export function. Till then I am stuck using ugly calibre.

Good little app.. everything works really well and looks great. Unfortunately its more of a fancy vertual book shelf for your digital comics.. When it comes to actually reading them this app falls short. With a few simple fixes this app could be much better. Quick keys, and just any type of viewing option would be nice.. Ill look out for updates but for now Im gonna have to go with another program!

This is a great app for viewing many (perhaps most) .cbr and .cbz files; however, for whatever reason it refuses to import or open some of them. This makes it really annoying because something like a third of my collection cant be accessed through this app, which otherwise almost works like iTunes but for comic books.

PLEASE HELP!! How do you get the comics in the first place?

I cannot download it either. Temporarily unavailable for more than 3 weeks! iTunes Support just said wait and try again later.

Love this app, but right now the installation from the App Store doesn’t work. Please fix.

Importing was very easy and the organization of my books was good, but there was no feature for navigating through comics using the arrow keys while in full screen (which I had to be in to read the text in the comic). Instead, you have to move the cursor to the bottom and a large overlay pops up over the bottom-most comic panel, which makes using this for comic book reading awkward and not at all seamless.

Someone mentioned back in 2012 on another review that navigation between pages worked with the arrow keys, but I find this to not be the case (I’m using El Capitan, and I fail to see anywhere in this app’s or the system’s preferences to change this at this time). As it is, without a touchscreen, you need a mouse and clicking arrows to move back and forth between pages. Also, there is a lack of editing to change titles, or update missing information. I’m stuck with 1, 10-19, then on to comic 2 in one of my comic series and it makes things difficult to keep track of. However, for a free app, it isn’t bad. It has no trouble displaying/zooming when needed, and visually displaying the comics helps a lot. There is plenty of room for improvement, but seeing that this app hasn’t been updated since Jan 2011, I won’t get my hopes up on these improvements happening.
