Not what I need, but should be...

I was hoping to be able to use this app to readdisplay a novel I bought on my iPad for my Macboon Air. It doesnt work at all, though Ehon retrieved the book; it just displayed a bunch of jibberish that my Macbook could do nothing with.

Macbook owners know thier computers will read anything thats highlighted to them, and I was hoping mine would read books to me while I was doing some other work on my computer.
